Joe's Pasta Garage - Pasta - Thon!

Who doesn't love Joe's, right??? I mean, I don't know what I love the most...the food, the pasta nacho's..the ambiance, the bathroom (no for real, the bathroom is SO cool) I love the garlic knots, I love the pizza...Mmmm

BUT....BUT....BUT!! What I think I love the most, is that this is a family run business, a family with small kids, I know how hard it is to run a business with a small family, mine are older and I find it challenging at times! But this young couple works as a team! The GIVE back in many ways, such as this, but I also know that Jamie also mentors young teens that live around his house, lending his garage for these kids bands and also lending his basketball hoop to those kids...(also hurting himself, "playing" like a kid with those kids;) These things mean a lot to young boys, him being in their lives, will make a difference somehow...but really, I think he does it just for the fun:)

Joe's Pasta Garage has also donated 2 nights, carry out or dine in. You can get these flyers at school (check the backpacks, friends:) And thank you Jamie and Kristin for donating to such a worthwhile cause. The Ootm kids can do dishes that night for you:)

Presenting to the board members

The kids presented their problem to the school board, this is a great way to get the school board involved in programs like this because these programs are SO important to keep. Up above you can see a little 2 and a half minute video. Where Dylan Baker explains to the members what Ootm is about! (he's a ham!)

Thanks!

Thank you very much for the following friends of Ootm who have given their dollars for these kids to travel to World's, your generosity is appreciated!

Pizza Thursday at Mark's in Skaneateles!

Here you have it, I just love this flyer!!! And I love how generous the folks at Mark's pizzeria are!

I don't know about you, but this whole business about going out to support the team by eating and also supporting local businesses is working just fine, I love killing two birds with one stone!

Just a tip, when you order a large pizza, ask them to cut it in squares for you, it's so much less messier than those big triangle pie shapes..the point of my triangle always flops..and you tend to eat less pieces of pizza this way too:) (It's how most Chicago joints cut their pizza!)

Thank you to Mark's! CLICK HERE, BECAUSE I JUST LEARNED THAT YOU CAN ORDER ONLINE!

More of a preview of what will be at the "fun"draiser silent auction and raffle items!

We've gotten a few more donations for the silent auction and raffle items. I'm thinking that this will be great because for my situation, my parents live far away, if they read this (they better be:) They might see something they like (I'm thinking the grill brush might be great!) They can tell me to bid on it for them..and maybe everyone else can do the same thing for family members far away...Helping doesn't have to be in the form of checks, as I said, a thought, or a bid..or anything goes a long way:)

Here are a few more items to add to your wish list maybe;)

A t-shirt and hat from the Tractor Supply Company in Auburn that will be a great raffle item!

Anne Tonzi our local party lite rep has given a lovely gift basket of goodies!

The Auburn Pool and Spa Shoppe has donated a %50 gift certificate and a pool game!

Michale and Fouad Dietz have donated this cool item! Boy, do I know someone who needs this!
I also want to thank Julie Scuderi and family for their donation.

Dorothy Krause and family for making a donation.

And

Elizabeth and Peter Hurley who also donated!

Stay tuned, more and more items and checks
come in. I know I speak for the team and all the
parents when I say, Thank you, for any small
way you can contribute!

A heartful of thanks!

Get out to Chili's in Auburn!

Chili's in Auburn, right over by the Fingerlake's mall is so graciously donating a portion of your bill....(10%).I say that so confidently because who doesn't LOVE Chili's..especially for kids! So here is the deal:

It's so simple, it's sweet! A sweet deal! (aka: a night us parent's don't have to cook and a portion of it can go to the team!)

First..it's one night only, and that night is MONDAY MAY 2nd! EEks..that is tomorrow! 3pm to 11pm

Hooray for me, no cooking, pass it along, so you can spare your friends and their friends of no cooking too, heck we can all have a party there! These coupons should have gone home in backpacks or you can pick them up at the school too.

BUT, you must bring one of these coupons!

IF you cannot make it to this restaurant night, don't worry, Mark's pizzeria AND Joe's Pasta Garage also have graciously and generously offered days that will help raise money for the team! Stay tuned for those days, I will announce them as soon as possible. (I know for a fact that Mark's Pizza will be Thursday May 5th) I will get those flyers posted as soon as possible!

They were really correct when it was said that it takes a village..and sometimes the village next door too!

Thank you!
